Elphaba nodded. "I know what you mean. At first we hated each other! But she pretended to do something nice for me. I believed her and I did something nice for her. She felt bad and actually kind of defended me. Then we sort of became friends." Elphaba said. She couldn't explain the whole story without bringing up Boq. That was the best she could do.
Elphaba blushed which was extreemely noticable with her skin at the mention of Fiyero. "What? Of course not." she denied fastly which was bad. "I don't know Lydia. It's so confusing. I can't like him. I am not supposed to but I think I do." she said with a sigh. "Strange how feelings can begin in one instant." she said more to herself.

((Page 3 ! ! ;D))
Lydia smirked at the blush on Elphaba’s cheeks, “ Well, Well, Well…Looks like the green girl has a crush on her best friends boy friend, “She teased her. Lydia snickered and shook her head, smiling brightly she said, “He’s an idiot …isn’t he…?” She said knowing how Galinda was with guys, and how she always chose Looks over Brains.
“Well, Don’t let Ga- I mean Glinda hear you crushing on her man…she’ll attack you,” Lydia smiled. Taking in a breath, she tried to imagine how the story was going between Glinda and Elphaba. Lydia looked up at Elphaba, scanning her looks so far then nodded, "She Galindafied you…didn’t she?” Lydia almost knew, seeing how Elphaba was. Not that she couldn’t have been this confident before, it’s just, usually the teenagers with weird looks or personalities are the lowest on the popularity food-chain.

((we are so good ;D wow i just noticed how much i wrote.))
Elphaba sighed. Now she would have to explain about how it came to be. "Everyone thinks he is an idiot. He slacks off and thinks that life is better for the brainless. But that day in class when Doctor Dillamond got taken away and the lion cub was in a cage. i left out one detail. He helped me save the lion cub. Do you want that whole story also?" she asked. She knew Lydia would definitely press for details so might as well make it easier for her.
"I know. Which is why after that day I started liking him I avoided him. But before I left for the Emerald City he...um gave me flowers and said he never stopped thinking about that class. Even Glinda noticed a change in him, as in she was freaked out because he was actually thinking.Elphaba said. Thinking about me She thought to herself guiltily. She couldn't let Galinda know she liked Fiyero. It would crush her and ruin their friendship.
Elphaba laughed. "weird, that was actually the first thing Fiyero said to me also." she said and shook her head. "Glinda tried to make me wear a pink flower pin in my hair. She got kind of annoyed when i took it off." she said with a small laugh.

Lydia smiled and shook her head, “Nah, I think I get where the story is going…Maybe he likes you too, he’s just too…”She trailed off. She didn’t know what word to use, heck, she wasn’t even sure if what she was saying made any sense to Elphaba. Lydia smiled slightly at the next thing Elphaba told her.
“Aw, he gave you flowers? He MUST like you then!” She said assuring her that he did. Though she had never met him, she could probably see how he was, just by the few details that Elphaba gave her. “Wow, Glinda freaking out…that’s a first, and all because he’s thinking,” She snickered. She thought it was sweet how a guy would give flowers to a girl he practically just met. Not a lot of guys did that, not even if they’ve known you their life.
“She tried to make you wear a pink flower? That kind of…clashes…” She smiled slightly, Pink doesn’t go very good with green, she thought to herself.

Elphaba sighed. "The thing is when i freaked out about the lion cub I sort of lost control and everyone in that room was like possessed. Except Fiyero. He grabbed the cage and told me to follow him. I still don't know why he was the only one who didn't get possessed-like" Elphaba said. It was weird. She avoided that question when he asked her and never bothered trying to answer it for herself either.
Elphaba shook her head. "He doesn't like me. He has Glinda. I mean come on, everyone thinks Glinda's perfect. Why would he bother with me when he has her?" Elphaba asked. She was kind of glad to have Lydia to talk to. She could never talk about this with Glinda. "Not really freaking out, just worrying." Elphaba said.
Elphaba nodded "I know, but according to Glinda, everything matches with pink." Elphaba said rolling her eyes with an amused smile. "But it could've been worst. Like she could've made me wear a pink dress! That would be horrible."Elphaba said. That would look horrible also.

Lydia shivered, “I’m not much of a pink person,…and something tells me you’re not either,” She giggled slightly, “But Anyways, Glinda is NOT perfect, and everyone does not think that, I don’t, I’m sure you don’t, nor Dr. Dillamond…Boq and Fiyero…maybe, but as for everyone else, I doubt it. “ She said. True, Glinda was the prettiest girl in school, but some guys go for brains over looks. “And what’s not to like about you? You’ve got everything Glinda’s got, and more. You’re smart, funny, sweet, beautiful…people just don’t realize it yet, but they will. Trust me,” she smiled, assuring Elphaba. Lydia knew Glinda wasn’t as perfect as people made her out to be, They just like her because she’s rich and pretty.
“And once you bring to the Wizard’s attention how the animals are being treated, everyone will realize it.” She smiled

Elphaba nodded. "Pink is not my color. If you don't like pink you should see Glinda's side of the room. It is sort of scary." she said with a small laugh. Elphaba found it a bit over the top with the pink. Elphaba gave a small smile. "I know Glinda's not perfect. But sometimes I kind of wish others didn't think of her as perfect." she said and stopped a minute "That sounds bad, doesn't it?" she asked. She couldn't believe she just said that.
Elphaba gave a shy smile and looked away as Lydia complimented her. She kind of wished it happened more often. It felt so great to be praised for who she is. "I hope they do." she said softly. Elphaba smiled. "I hope they realize it. But I am so nervous about meeting him. But in a good way." she said. Elphaba has been waiting for this for as long as she could remember.

Lydia shook her head, “It didn’t sound bad, some people are just praised too much,” She replied to her. Lydia ran her hands through her hair, she wondered how and where Dr. Dillamond was. A worried expression was pasted to her face. She gulped slightly, bringing her mind from his safety back to Elphaba. Clearing her throat, she sat up straight.
“Don’t be nervous, just walk into that room, and show him your tough face. Don’t let him know you’re intimidated by him, but don’t be rude either,” She said. The last thing she wanted was for Elphaba to make a fool of herself, she knew how it was to be nervous, Lydia herself was nervous all the time and was constantly making a fool of herself. She didn’t want Elphaba to have that problem as well.

Elphaba nodded. She opened the door for Lydia as they walked outside. She mentioned about what to do with the Wizard. "What if I lose it an offend him? I do have trouble controlling my emotions in situations that are important to me." she said. She could imagine how bad it would be to offend the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. That would ruin her life forever and make her a fugitive. Not the future she would want.
They walked outside. "I just realized i have been so rude. Enough about me, how about you?" she asked. It was time that she got to know Lydia more. But one thing was for certain. Elphaba could trust Lydia. If anything went wrong when she met the Wizard, Lydia would be the first to get the story from her.

Lydia stepped out onto the cold Emerald City sidewalk. The wind blew her hair towards the East as she turned to face Elphaba, “ Just stay calm…he’s just a person, it’s not like…he’s going to hang you if you say something wrong,” She laughed slightly, “Don’t speak unless you’re spoken to, and choose your words carefully.” She smiled, “You’ll do fine, I’m sure of it,” She assured her confidence in the girl.
Lydia placed her hands at her side as Elphaba asked about her. She shrugged, “well…what would you like to know about me?” She asked, not wanting to just come out and tell her things that she didn’t want or need to know. There were tons of things about herself that she hadn’t really ever shared with anyone, but none of the things were really that important.

Elphaba nodded. The advice running through her mind. "I will be sure to remember that." she said with a smile. "Thanks." she added in nerviously. She wa still nervous but she would probably get over it. And she would also have Glinda there to help her out of tough situations.Well not too tough situations.
Elphaba thought for a minute of what to ask. "I don't know, your home life? if it's not to personal." she suggested. She didn't want to snoop on this girl's business but she wanted to know Lydia more. What made her angry, what made her happy, when she felt safe. Things that friends should know.

Lydia shrugged, “I have a brother, he’s like a male version of Glinda though…He’s dumb, always get’s the girl, he got the good looks, …you know the type…” She said, “But I do love him dearly, I just wish he’d grow up and stop chasing skirts.” She told him, “He still goes to Shiz, but he lives in the Emerald City with me,” She added.
“Maybe you know him? His name’s Adam…” (No pun intended with the Adam Lambert XD HAHAHAHAHA) "I think he’s a grade lower than you though…held back a year.” She rolled her eyes. She knew Adam could do better if he tried, but he was just too lazy.

((haha Adam Lambert XD))
Elphaba smiled. "Male version of Glinda? Is he also obssessed with pink?" Elphaba asked trying to imagine a male version of Glinda. The thought quite frankly creeped her out. She could imagine the two being best friends. But that would be too much for the school to handle. Then she heard her went to Shiz.
"I don't think I met him." she said trying to think. "I might have seen him but never really talked to him." she said "So who does he take after?" she asked wondering if Lydia was more like her mom or dad. "How do you two get along?" she asked. They sounded like completely different people but then again opposites attract.

Lydia snickered, “Actually…his favorite color is green. Maybe you two should hook up sometime,” She smiled nudging Elphaba with her elbow. Lydia thought that would be cool, since Elphaba had a thing for hanging out with …not so smart people, And she was sure that Adam would like Elphaba, he’d probably see her as an interesting person.
“Adam takes after my mom, she’s the beautiful one in the family and me and my dad…look like Jack Frost,” She snickered, It was funny how she looked extremely like her father, though the rest of the family was brunet and her and her father were the odd balls. But different isn’t always a bad thing…but it is if you go to school and are mocked for it.
“Though I must admit my looks do make it quite easy to blend in in the winter and win a snow ball fight,” She laughed slightly, “But as far as getting along with my brother…ehh…he fight a lot, usually because I’m just looking out for him and don’t want him getting hurt. But you know how brothers can be…they think they’re tough and can handle whatever life throws at them.” She shrugged then turned to Elphaba, “What about you and your sister, how do you get along?”

Elphaba laughed and rolled her eyes. "Yeah but if he is anything as you describe him as, green isn't as attractive on skin as he thinks it is."she said with a small smile. Even though she could tell Lydia was all for the idea of them hooking up, which was kind of weird.
Elphaba raised her eyebrows. "Come on, you're pretty also. You have beautiful hair color and your skin tone compliments your eyes very well." Elphaba said. She was truthful. Lydia was very pretty. She just had the same thing as Elphaba, lack of self-confidence in looks.
Elphaba nodded. "Basically the same. I always try to look out for Nessa but she gets annoyed and does it anyway. if she gets hurt or anything she blames me." she said "I embarass her all the time. Just by being myself." she said "But we have our moments. She can be supportive when she wants to be and I am always there to talk to her." she said smiling at some of the good memories they had.
